White onclick halo

What features do you want to be included next?

White onclick halo

Postby Thibault » Sat Jan 10, 2009 11:49 am

Hi,

A feature that would be realy good looking is the halo on the "i" icon, on the onclick action.
If you don't understand why I'm talking about just go to the weather app on your iphone, on click on the "i"/info icon in the right bottom corner.

This is not a request but more like a brainstorming on "how is it possible to do that". I guess we can find a javascript toolkit to do that, and I would be happy to help integrate it in iwebkit.

Let me know what you think about that.

You could use a little bit of javascript for that yeah. You could simply do a hover style with the background image changing to the "i" with the halo. Then do a delay to open the link a second after you clicked it, like that, you have the time to see the halo!

I didnt see an edit button so im posting this in a different post....

This is a small example of what you are talking about. the problem is that you have to use 2 images as the -webkit-shadow doesnt work.... If you want to download everything:

Sorry blackjak231, it doesnt work for me neither on Firefox/Linux nor on Safari/iPhone. Where did you test it (browser/platform) ?
